DFLD-YIGD and DFLD-FIGD model insertion type electromagnetic flow meter consists of sensor and converter, which was used for measuring the volume flow of various conductive liquids in the pipe.

 

DFLD-YIGD and DFLD-FIGD model insertion type electromagnetic flow meter is widely used for the conductive liquid flow measurement of municipal water supply and drainage, petroleum, chemical, electric power, water conservancy project and other industries. It also used for measuring corrosive conductive liquids like acid, alkali, sodium and etc.

The converter of the DFLD-FIGD  is installed in the instrument room or near the sensor that is easily accessible by user, and is separated by tens to hundreds of meters. The converter can be away from the harsh environment of the site, and it is convenient to check, adjust and parameterize electronic components.The converter can be checked, adjusted and set new parameters remotely without going to the installation site.

1. Selection of Installation Environment

  • As far away as possible from the devices with strong magnetic field, such as large electric machine, transformer and etc.
  • Easy to install and maintain.
  • Keep the installation site without strong shaking and ambient temperature should be stable.

2.Selection of Installation Position

  • Ensure the fluid filled in the pipe.
  • Be far away from pump and local resistance parts.
  • Please choose the position that not easy to cause the phase separation during measuring the two phase fluids.
  • Avoid the position of negative pressure in the pipe.
  • Inner diameter and perimeter of measuring tube are easy to measure, and the ovality should be small. 

3.Length of Straight Pipe

  • Please ensure the fluid filled in pipe at installation position.
  • Upstream straight pipe of installation position should be more than 10D, downstream straight pipe should be not less than 5D, D is the nominal diameter of pipe.

4.Flow Control Valve And Adjustment Valve

  • Flow control valve should be installed on the upstream measured pipe of sensor. Flow adjustment valve should be installed on the downstream pipe. Generally, flow control valve should keep full open status.
